I moved to the vibrant Las Vegas area in 1989, originally from Arizona, and embarked on my professional journey at Fremont Medical Center. Starting in the business office, I steadily progressed to the role of Practice Manager. Over the course of 12 years, I had the privilege of contributing to the growth and success of Fremont. One particularly exciting chapter involved establishing clinics in two local casinos, an experience that added a dynamic dimension to my career.
The next significant chapter of my career unfolded when I was approached by one of the physicians to assist in managing an Anesthesia Practice in Henderson. For over 16 years, I played a pivotal role in the operations until the group transitioned to a nationwide entity in 2017.
In 2017, I took on a new challenge by joining a prominent local nonprofit dedicated to serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Joining the organization at a time when it lacked an HR department, I collaborated closely with Greg Wilken, Endunamo Consulting, to establish a robust and effective HR department, contributing to the organization's overall success over my six-year tenure.
Beyond the professional realm, my off-time is devoted to family. I have two daughters here in Las Vegas, a son residing in North Carolina, and the joy of nine grandchildren collectively among them.
